...or at least help me make a point. I only need you to read this and sign a petition on change.org - no money, no hassle, just a click. Please read. This is the story of a small town trying to protect itself from a big city and big business. The small town is Hedon, the big city is Hull and the big business is Sewells. If you believed the local media you'd think it was all sunshine and fucking rainbows. In fact, the local people largely disapprove. Petitions are hugely slanted against the development of an ugly, concrete filled, pollution causing industrial estate on a piece of green space which separates our small green town of Hedon from the polluted city of Hull. A lot of the petitions were on paper, meaning people who signed paper petitions did not sign the online one I have linked in this journal. The opposition had a total of 2189 signatures whereas the other side only had 354 signatures (and that was reported in an article which sung the fucking praises of the development!).
